Bass line is basically blowing up here in NYC, at least it is with the crew. or it feels like it, and also really big on the internet. T2 is becoming a household name and the next UK to stateside darling, alongside Dexplicit. That's all wonderful, but as we all know with each musical movement, there comes a dance style; a variation of a different kind of two step or an amalgamation of many urban dance moves thrown into the washer and dryer, spun around a few times and spit out. (See The Wu Tang Slide, The Philly Wu Tang, Crumping, something like dutty wine, raving, etc etc.) Either way, I was wondering when something like that would pop up for Bass Line House, and then DTL showed me this. I don't know what to think of it, looks like less spastic clowning with a hint of a bully aesthetic. And then you just have people straight up grinding and raving. I just want to jump up and down.
